Evaluation of internal and external processes
A key part of our robust quality assurance system is the thorough evaluation of both internal and external processes. For us, audits are not formality, but a dynamic tool for ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.
All control steps are designed in line with customer requirements, legal regulations, and industry standards. Our comprehensive 360-degree evaluation system includes product audits, process audits, and system audits.
Management of key suppliers and materials
We recognise that the quality of the final product begins with the reliability of our suppliers and the quality of incoming materials and components. That’s why the management of key suppliers is an integral part of our quality management system.
Every process in our company is subject to strict control. Including the selection and evaluation of partners. This ensures the highest quality right from the start and safeguards the integrity of your products.
Quality and certifications in the KTL process
We rank among the largest providers of cathodic dip coating (KTL) in Central Europe, with an annual line capacity exceeding 10 million m2. Quality is the cornerstone in meeting the growing demands of the automotive industry. Our commitment to quality is underpinned by the IATF 16949 certification, which is a globally recognised standard in automotive.
KTL Production process control
Our in-house laboratory serves as the central hub for KTL quality management. All relevant production processes are precisely monitored and thoroughly documented with the support of advanced computing systems. This ensures maximum transparency and reliability at every stage of production.
In addition, our laboratory performs KTL-specific tests, including:
- Verification of perfect coating adhesion (Cross-cut test, IBMK test).
- Ensuring precise and consistent layer thickness in line with OEM specifications.
- Confirmation of exceptional corrosion resistance for maximum service life of parts (corrosion tests in our own chamber as well as external facilities).
- Surface tension measurement.
- Measurement of curing windows in the polymerisation oven.

Sealing
This is a specialised process used to seal seams on automotive parts and in related industries where edge tightness must be guaranteed. During this process, we monitor oven parameters to ensure the correct performance of the sealing compound. The application of the sealant is carried out according to customer-approved work instructions.
Filler
Another step that follows KTL for certain parts is the application of a filler layer. We can provide this process for a wide range of customers. Control step in this process includes thickness measurement and defect inspection, according to customer-approved catalogues.We can apply different colour shades. Currently, we apply black / red / white.

Welding: precision and strength to automotive standards
In welding, our top priority is the reliability and accuracy of joints, which form the foundation of structural integrity and component safety. We strictly adhere to IATF 16949 certification system, ensuring compliance with the most demanding requirements of the automotive industry.
Thorough dimensional and strength control
The dimensional accuracy of welded assemblies is carefully monitored using inspection fixtures, which are in integral part of daily operations in our welding shop. This gives us continuous oversight and guarantees precision for every single part.
Weld strengthy is verified on a shift basis using a tensile testing machine. This destructive test, with zero tolerance for deviations, provides indisputable proof that our welds are strong and reliable.
Detailed and long-term testing
For even deeper and long-term quality verification, we carry out 3D measurements and macroscopic examinations of welded joints. For these comprehensive tests, we work closely with AUREL CZ, part of our Colegium Holding group, which provides full support for all necessary inspections.
